Does this new AID have roms built into it?
Nope, there are no roms for 2 reasons:
1) It would make the download way too big
2) What would happen if the Roms I put in didn't work? I don't have time to sit down and check thousands of roms.
If you chcek the FTP servers you should find some Rom Addon Packs though, which have the properly made to be inserted into AID 2.

I unpack the aid2.0 and then use the iso updater to add all the available rom add-ons but when i go to burn it with nero i get an error saying that the size is incorrect would i like to fix or ignore so i tried both and burnt them to disk when i boot on my xbox i get nothing but a freeze at the xbox load screen.
any ideas?

Possibly an old version of Nero, because the ISO files that the AID 2 Updater creates do work.
Maybe try DVD Decrypter if Nero if giving you too much trouble...

Is there any reason why I'd want it though? Can I link from it to other dashes? Otherwise I see no reason to use it...

Unfortunately I can't please everyone with the soundtrack I selected, but then again I've also made AID 2 for my own use so I'll have whatever music I want, hehe.
I was originally thinking about keeping the music seperate and just have something like a music addon-pack, but I didn't bother with it.
So, sorry to the ppl who don't like the soundtrack, but lots of other ppl don't seem to mind.
