Yep any normal IDE HDD that you would put in your PC would work for youx xbox, like I said 10 gig or bigger.
Personally, I think you should do it right the first time, and maybe look into getting a 80 or 120 gig, that way you'll never have to replace it again.

nice djb. right now im using linksbox and a playstaion 2 keyboard on my xbox. its pretty sick but linksboks isnt all that great. we need some firefox for xbox

it could possibly be done via linux (a port to Xbox I mean) but I'd have no idea on where to start, just like lots of other ppl I'm guessing.

im back on my comp now. once i download the aid 2 i will format my drive and reinstall everythin and im gonna try out avalaunch dash as an alternate just cause i wanna use the irc chat thing. you can log yourself onto AIM with it plus i can chat with u guys on the xbox irc, anyway thanks djb. later _________________ XBOX

I did not know you can redo your WHOLE HDD for xbox, I thought that would mess stuff up. interesting the options the new shells give you, accually I have only been reading up on this a couple days now. Time for me to take place!! Test out my skillz

I finally got on the FTP server last night(3:00 A.M) and man was it worth the wait!!!! This autoinstaller is amazing and powerful, the add-on packs,bios, apps, rompaks, sofmodpak, are out of this world!!! Ohhh DJB. The menu music kicks ass also Thanks to you DJB and the guys that worked on the language packs for delivering such a kick ass installer...Thanks _________________ Xbox V1.3
