Is It Possible to Compress your back up ISO's before you burn them onto a DVD-R? So maybe that way you can fit more then 1 game.

Unfortunately I do not believe so.
However, you can use C Xbox Tool 2 to put more than one game on a DVDR. Some games are less than 1 GB so you can round up a few that can fit on a 4.7GB disk and create a multi game menu to launch them.
Or, you can snag up a DL DVD9 burner for your PC and burn 8.5GB disks.
You also can strip certain things out of games if you don't mind deleting cut scenes and such. That will also make the files smaller prior to creating your .ISO
