when i was trying to put xbmc on i messed up a cpl times got some xml error, a dashboard error....etc....but no matter what as long as aid disc was in drive i could get in......
if i put aid on the harddrive...will it do the same thing?
will it always boot aid if something messes up? _________________

i know....xbmc is all good.....im just saying that no matter what error i got while i was doing that....i could still access AID to fix it cause it was in the dvd.....
so what im asking is if i put AID directly on hd....would it do the same thing......meaning that if i #!$# something up will it allow me to have aid pop up no matter what so i can fix whatevr it might be? _________________

No. AID can be installed to the HDD, but not gracefully. And you can't really have it default to AID when an error happens _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
