ok, got the tutorial. 1 more question. I have already done all of that. i mean i bought it off ebay done soldering and everthing. At the begining of the tutorial it wants me to hook it up to my pc, well i cannot. the yellow cord that hook to the motherboard that goes to the dvd drive is using it and will not connet to my computer. Is there a FTP way into it?

Your computer doesn't care where a device is getting power. You can get power from another PSU sitting on top of your computer. As long as the device is powered, it doesn't matter. So, use the xbox's power line, and your computer's IDE cable. Then follow the instructions. YES, you'll have to have the xbox very close to your computer, no, nothing has to be hooked up to the xbox but the power cable. No AV, no controllers, not TV (it doesn't matter if the xbox errors out, as long as power is getting to the drive. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
