like certain programs burn differently like speeds like (2x, 6x) anyways i'm getting different media 2mmrw. hopefully that will solve my issue on the update 3.04!

first of all, you have the 616t drive. Doesn't mean it's going to read everything. If it was flashed with the 605b firmware (like mine) instead of the 605F firmware, then it's not ever gonna read DVD+R's. Sorry, just the way of the world. If you wanna reflash it, you can grab the tutorial off my VIP server.
As far as your burning problem, burn with DVD Decrypter (www.mrbass.org/dvdrip) at about 2x or 4x. I, personally never have a burning speed problem. I burn full throttle, and have never had an error. But maybe your burner just doesn't like you.

naaaaa, i burned halo dvd+R to a blankd dvd (MAXELL) and it plays perfect! i guess it was flashed correctly to play dvd+r's but it will NOT read MAGNAVOX DVD-R!!! and i bought a 100 pk.

well how much mone yhave you wasted, seems like reading the posts and tutorials before hand could have helped, why dont you just buy a disk, cuz obvisly your not gonna take anyones word, bout the drive, and media, and i fell like we will be at this for a month or two from now, and soon or a later people are going to give up, did you ever read any tuts before you started to mod the xbox or do anything to a xbox _________________ Please post all PC Questions at PC-HQ.com
