my modded xbox with xecuter2 worked for a long while but has now thrown a hdd error code #7 plz tell me how to fix this asap thanx in advance

Sounds like your HD has died.
Here is what I would do to be sure.
First, I would try a new IDE cable just for shits and giggles. If that doesn't work, I'd buy a cheap unlocked stock Xbox HD if you do not have your original drive or another unlocked HD laying around.
This way, you can definitely find out if it is indeed the HD that has failed, but in my experience if it isn't the IDE cable (with error 07) it's a dead HD.
Is your HD making any clicking noises?
