When I attempt to install the softmod I get the following error:

Unrar FAILED "E:/Apps/Dvd2Xbox/acl". Error Code: 0
END Unrar Operation
I've tried reformatting the memory card and copying the files over again, just not happening. Appreciate any help.

In the guide they say use SID2 (must be ancient...)
AFAIK, that shouldn't affect the softmod installation, that's only putting DVD2XBOX on, which you can do yourself. it should work if it got that far, you just won't have dvd2xbox (which I haven't used yet... [should I?])... It puts unleashx as your main dash, and tells you to put xbmc (2.0.1... egad) on as an app. _________________

Ok man help step one forget that app endur or what ever go here http://www.mininova.org/search/?search=taller+deluxe+4.10
and get auto installer deluxe 4.10 in the sid folder you will find the sid installer and the game save file for splintercell.
Then use this guide http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/xbox-tutorials-256.html
and youll be good to go on your soft mod and this forum uses this softmod so we can help you with anything that might have you stuck.
After you got the mod working you can burn the aid iso file to disc and use it to add apps dashes and emulators, youll love it man.

Ill give you that one darth but you know its worth it in the long run and if he needs help with a soft mod fix he wold get faster and better help if he used sid and the aid software.

AID takes forever to download? I downloaded it last night in just under 3hrs, maybe thats forever to you, but to me its no time at all to wait for the BEST XBOX installer out. Go get the torrent, start downloading, go watch a movie and it will be almost done.

Yeah thats not long but the speed you get it at is up to how many seeders and leachers are there so time for download will not be the same for all users not to count the pc your useing and its speed.
