Hello there,
First of all - I didn't create a signature as I simply don't know anything bout my Xbox nor about the modchip that is there.
Anyway - I bought the thing a month ago. Everything was working sweet with evo dashboard until I decided to upgrade the software and dowloaded AID 4.10. I updated 4.10 with 4.12 fixes, I created the ISO burnt it and:
1. I formatted all the drives.
2. I did modchip one click install with evo
And I get only MS dashboard.
If I reformat the drive and install any other dash - I get Microsoft or an error code.
I can launch other dashes from AID dvd but it's not really what I wanted.
Can You tell me where did I go wrong?
I mean I am a total noob and probably dont know sometyhing obvious.
Do I have to set the active dash in some config file before launching it?
Or maybe rename the ms dash launcher and replace it with evo's?
Will appreciate any hints...

I just tried the modchip one click install thingie with xselect but still get only the microsoft dash :/

whad drive are u installing the dashes to ?? C: or E:
Also, try powering the XBox on with the `eject` button instead of the `power` button..... Post bk your results _________________

When I do the one click install thing - there's not much choice.
When I install the dashes themselves - to C:
And I tried booting the thing with both buttons, with cd tray in and out.
I just reformatted the drive again and I'm trying to simply install the Evo dash on E:...

...nope. just an error
btw - I have 3 switches on my modchip:
chip on/off, flash prot on/off and bank 1/2
Should I do sth with them ?

OK, after removing flash prot I reflashed BIOS and installen one click thingie.
Everything works
