Hi guys,
This has been puzzling me for a while now, where on the xbox hard drive are the custom soundtracks (that u make from the MS Dashboard music area) stored, and what format are they in?? I want to FTP my mp3s across to make into a soundtrack to use in games, anybody know how I can do this?
I have Slayers EvoX 2.6 installed, If theres a way to do it through this can somebody tell me how.
I've been able to get MP3s FTPed over to the E partition in \Music but they only work in Xbox Media Centre and not in games.
Any help appreciated, don't want to have to spend hours and hours burning mp3s to cdrw to rip to the xbox through the MS Dash

Hi MaTtRxCoOl and welcome to xbox-hq.com,
Sounds like this application will be useful to you then..
Now you can edit XBOX Soundtrack from your PC. Add/Remove/Rename soundtrack and music track with this program. If you want to listen to the MP3s in the XBOX, change the MP3 to WMA format using converting program like 'Advanced WMA Workshop'. (I recommend converting option Bitrate:
128kbps, Samplerate:44100Hz, Channel:Stereo)
I havent used it personally but im sure it works..
When you rip your Cd's to your XBOX HDD and play them in your games etc or in your ORIGINAL M$ Dashboard they are stored as .wma files..
anyway, that will get you started and save you heaps of time..
