I'm a newbie to all this but I have evox installed in my xbox. I didn't burn the disk to my hdd but loaded it straight from the disk. When I booted up my xbox I got the default screens and unable to get back to the evox menu. I have the xecuter 2 mod and phh loader. If someone knows how to get my evox back I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

More info please..
You have the Xecuter 2 mod..what is that?
Is that your bios (Xecuter2 4983.06 or Xecuter2 4983.67 for ex:)
Or, do you mean you have the Xecuter 2.3 lite or pro chip?
Have you ever been able to get there?? Did you flash your modchip? Do you have an external switch installed that lets you activate or deactivate the chip??
We will be more than happy to help you once we have the right info!! Look forward to solving your problem...we have lots of members here who should be able to get to the bottom of your issue.
Hang in there.

Thank you for replying,
I think i have the xecuter 2.3 chip. I do not have a switch to disable it. The person who modded my xbox is no longer around. I'm not sure how to flash my mod chip. I do know that my phh loader is still in my xbox because I checked my hdd in the memory settings. Thanks, cannot wait to get things back to normal

Okay, so you have already successfully backed up games and stuff. I thought this was a first time fireup after a mod.
I am not sure on the boot procedure for a Xecuter 2.3 chip or if there is a difference between the lite and pro.
Have you ever successfully launched Evolution X on this machine?? Did you FTP into it or something before this problem occured?
Even if not, what may have happened when you loaded something from a disk you could have changed some filenames on your C drive. Do you have the retail HD or a larger one.
What I recommend on doing is seeing if your machine will boot an autoinstaller.
Burn the autoinstaller to a CDRW or DVDR and boot your xbox with this in it.
Then you can reinstall your EvoX dash and make sure PxHDD loader is properly installed on the correct drive. What disk did you use to install EvoX???
later man

Thanks man,
I'm not sure how this all works. All I know is that I have the larger harddrive and my old one is gone. I didn't do the install of Evox, he is no longer around. I'm not that good with computers but will try to find an autoinstaller and see if that works.

Oh yeah,
I forgot to ask you, could you recommend a great autoinstaller for my xbox. I don't really want to lose anything in it, just change my dashboard. Thanks,

Thanks it now works! The only thing I'm missing is the phhloader. But for now I"m able to access my backups. Thanks
