Hi all,
been a while since I last posted here.
I have my XBox softmodded and recently installed XBMC from AID 3.10 because I was told it needed updating and it all went well enough.
anyway, with my old old XBox I remember changing some files in the root of the C drive in order to make XBMC the default Dash but I cannot remember for the life of me how I did it. I recall renaming some .xbe file from the E:\Apps\XBMC folder to the root of the C drive but thats about it. Searching for a tutorial for this has been successfull in one way but the tuts are not the same method I used earlier this year, as I mentioned it was just a case of copying and renaming some files.
Can anyone here detail a step by step guide in how I can get my XBox to boot to XBMC again ?

Cheers,
Vega....

Hi mate, good to see you back on board Very Happy

Now, to answer your question:
Quote:
Thanks to an app called 'Team UIX's Xbe Shortcut Maker v1.0' by JbOnE, it's now easy...
Transfer contents of XBMC folder (this is VERY important since the tool is hardcoded)
TO "E:\APPS\XBMC\". Rename <<SHORTCUT by TEAM UIX.xbe>> to something your bios can boot

Now all you do is place that shortcut xbe where your bios will boot it Wink

You can download the xbe shortcut maker here.

Hope this is what you were looking for Wink

Cheers, roo
