I have some insomnia rips of xbox games downloaded from http://www.suprnova.org/ (bittorrent) but am not sure of how i need to prepare them for burning. The folder contains many compressed files of 50mb or so which extract to 1. something gig a piece. the names of the compressed files are the same except they have like part1, part2, etc up to 13 or so and all extract to the same named file of the same size. All of the games I get from this site are all like this and I just want to know what to do with them so I don't have to waste a bunch of media.

I typically download games already in .ISO format, even from bit torrent. That way, all I do is burn it and roll.
Hopefully DJB or someone who is more bit torrent savvy than I will know what to do with all of those.

Ok.. If you have downloaded some bittorrent files and they are in multiple parts (eg. gamename.part01.rar or gamename.001 etc) you will need the latest version of winrar which extracts there compressed files
Once you have downloaded and installed winrar you can then extract the games from the .rar files onto your pc So just open then first .rar file (e.g. .part01.rar or .001 or .rar) and extract to your preferred directory on your computer..
When its finished extracting or unrarring you will have a gamename.iso file.. You could burn this file to CDRW/DVD-r and boot it in your xbox without a problem. BUT, if you want to run the game from the XBOX HDD you need to extract all the files from the .ISO file.
Please note:
YOU CANNOT COPY A .ISO FILE OVER TO YOUR XBOX AND EXPECT IT TO WORK..
You now have to use a XISO Extractor/Creator to extract the ISO
(this is only if you want to play from the xbox hdd)
When its finished extracting you should have all the files just like a pc. Check that you have a 'default.xbe' file in the root of your folder.
Thats it.. You can now ftp these files over to your XBOX HDD and it will play them just fine.. Some Games need to be patched to run off the HDD but you will find most work just fine anyway.
