I am waiting to get xecutor 2.6 CE modchip, meantime i have X2.5035 bios ready on disk, and AID 2.11 on DVD.
Once i install the chip and new drive (40gb) and first boot flash bios.
Then I will boot with AID 2.11 in disk tray select
format /prepare HDD
format large HDD
back to main menu
install dashboards
install ms dash 5960
back to install dashboards
install c drive dashboards
install evolutionX 3935 (or 3921) any reason why to choose one or other ?
then use advanced tool and configmagic to lock the HDD
shutdown
boot without CD
Am i too take it with chip switched on it will boot to EvolutionX dash and chip off to MS Dash ?
Also the steps above can anyone verify thats the right steps please.
Lastly there a format X,Y,Z do i need to do that one ? what are those ?

Don't forget to install the apps especially dvd2xbox you will be using that alot. Dont even bother with the x,y,z. _________________

use evox 3935 and like enigma said install apps to f or g depending on drive size like dvd2xbox, complex tools, xbmc, etc _________________ Xbox V1.6

I did not bother going into list of applications, might become too long, but XBMC is one of my main reasons for modding, and yeap dvd2xbox will be essential too, along with others, plan to check out AID 2.11 and pick off ones i will use. I am assuming that it will had to EvolutionX Dash menu, or do I need to edit the menu file ?
So no comments on steps, so I assume thats a good sign and my research has paid divident
Still waiting for the chip another day goes by. Ordered from baldbouncer and they refunded my money on the weekend saying they cannot fulfil the order so re-ordered from Kanection.
