I formatted all drives in my 250gb hd in Evox, which made the drive useless. I still have the factory hd working plus the xbox hd maker bootable cdrom. Also, I took the same model # drive and restored it with the cd and its working (didnt format this time lol). How can I unlock the formatted and locked hd?
The computer wont boot with the hd attached so I have to plug it in while xboxhdtools is loading (and it does see it). I entered in the following codes (which i found off the cd xboxhd made
unlockhd -p #########(keys)######
but it wont unlock it. Is there something im doing wrong or cant it be unlocked since its formatted?
(tried all of the numbers)

Also, the eeprom and other files are on the cd. Is there away to use that if it would help? There is an option to "automatically get password from eeprom" but not sure how to set it to look at the cd for the file.

What software did you lock it with? try using XBOXSCENE for the password to unlock it.
