I'm not interested in a full mod of the Xbox, I just want to be able to FTP my music files to my PC.

Here's the setup:
I have an un-modded launch day Xbox dated 10/20/2001

Xbox system info (from the dashboard):
K:1.00.3944.01
D:1.00.5960.01

Action Replay
MS Memory card
SID 2.0 and 3.0
Original Splinter Cell, UPC 008888510130

I am able to copy the files to the memory card just fine, and when I connect the card to the Xbox they transfer to the HD OK.

I launch Splinter Cell, pick the Linux profile and then click the checkpoint link and nothing happens. The interface freezes, I get no blank screen, no new dashboard, nothing. It just sits there and the Splinter Cell music plays. I tried the Krayzie version of this hack as well with the same results. :^(

Any ideas?

I fixed it. The hack will only work if it is the ONLY Splinter Cell gamesave on the HD. I had an old save plus the downloadable content for the game. Once I deleted that and replaced it with the hacked game save the new dashboard came up like a champ.
