I just got the Blockbuster game pass and was about to copy all the games I wanted. But what programs should I use to copy/burn them?

First, to backup newer games to your HD I would use DVD2Xbox instead of PXHDD loader. I have backed up a few newer games using PxHDD loader and they play fine on my xbox HD, but when I FTP them to my PC and then use software to create .ISO and burn them, they will not play correctly on disk.

The game manufactures are using encryption that DVD2Xbox removes, PxHDD Loader does not.

Anyway, on to answering your questions. Once you rip the game to your xbox HD you will then FTP it to your PC, or you can look for forahobbys new tutorial on using Quix to handle it. If not, read on.

Once the game folder is FTP'd to your PC you can use CXboxTool 2 to turn it into an .ISO. Then, you can use DVD Decrypter or any other DVD burning program like CloneDVD2 to burn the .ISO to a disk.

I have been using CloneDVD2 and it hasn't failed on me yet!

Check out forahobby's tutorial using Quix. It removes you needing to FTP to your PC. It just pulls the info from your xbox HD and creates the .ISO where you specify on your PC HD for burning. Sounds like an awesome way to do it, I just haven't tried it yet.

later man

My buddy's got a PS2 modded and he just copies the DVD and plays. He says that his program makes an exact copy of the disc. Will thst program work for XBox?

If it will truly make an exact copy of an XBOX disc, it should work, BUT... I'll bet you it doesn't, so it won't work.

I just use the Roxio that came with my burner, I am always hesitant to put new programs on my computer. It seems to work fine. Although you do need a program to conver the files into an ISO. But once you do that its just file -> Copy image to disk(or something like that)
