I have a xenium chipped 1.1 xbox with xbmc installed with AID 2. I just uograded to AID 3.1 and chose Install C Dashboard, XBMC, Retail E, and as the files copy I hear a "boing" noise on about 5, including sources.xml
When I restart I get XBMC Fatal Error q:\userdata\sources.xml line o empty. FTP started...
I ftp and see a Q drive with an empty sources.xml. I tried to copy sources from my softmodded AID 3.1 XBMC xbox but get file access denied.
If I reboot and run Xenium I can ftp but see just c d e. Sources file seems ok there.
C ends up with 189mb free after the install.
Any ideas?
PS Just put XBMC from AID 3.0 back and it is running fine. My 3.1 AID disk is ok because I installed XBMC on my softmodded box

I used AID 3 to start from scratch, no FTP in. I have tried over and over to reload everything with AID 3.10 with no luck.

yea I backed it up. The problem is I cant FTP in. It tells me FTP started but gives me a static IP of 192.168.0.2. This is not in my routers DHCP table of clients. It should be 192.168.1.102. It seems as the XBOX is getting a static IP. I did notice that on the screen of AID 3.10 it says Static Version. I suspect this might be one of the reasons I cant FTP in. Are there 2 different versons of AID 3.10, static and DHCP?

That will be tough but since I'm desperate I will need to try it. So you are saying there are 2 different versions of AID 3.10, one static and one DHCP? How to I get the DHCP one?

well I couldn't connect directly as I don't have a crossover cable but I did try one click with AID 3.10 and I chose Avalaunch instaed of XBMC this time and it worked but I want XBMC as my default dash. I will read some more but if anyone knows how to set up XBMC as the default dash please let me know or provide a link to instructions.
Thanks!!
