Its all in the guide i posted, you need to take the save exploit for (lets say mech) and the sid installer exploit and put them on your mem card.
Turn on your stock xbox with the card in and go to the save files to copy over the exploits to the hdd.
Put in the game and launch the save you just put on the hdd, it will say run linux.
That will launch the sid installer and you need to do is follow the set up in the guide.

Are the stock HD as easy to switch out. I'm trying to put this Sea Gate into my newest most up to date XBOX. I have four now. I got involved in this stuff heavy quick. I want my Sea Gate because I was told its the only one I can format to get the extra 2GB. I'm working on the new mod right now.

The eeprom on that hard drive means that it will onley work on the xbox it came in, unless you use xboxhdm to rebuild it.

I'm not advanced enough to rebuild anything. I guess I'll try to find ome way around it. If I can figure out how to remove the bottom piece from the case, I can switch the newer case with the old and then just switch the drives. We'll see.

To get the mobo out (if thats what your saying) just pull all the screws out from it and it should just pull out.
Keep the power supplie with the OG mobo.

Ok man when you get the xbox softmodded you can use xboxpartitioner to get back the 2gb.
Just pop in aid and go to the xboxpartitioner and hit the a button till you see it has like 2000mb in section 6 and hit start.
Head back to the main screen and use the hdd set up and prepair the F drive, and you now got the 2gb the hdd was hideing from you.

Thats good news. I'm having trouble getting the PAL part of the Splinter Cell SID onto my memory card. I got the NTSC part fine, but the PAL wont copy. It gets locked up every time I try.

I got it all done. I see that this one has the SID 5 on it. That should come in handy. Thanks for all the help.

I was thinking of doing the mech/SC softmod for once (i'm a hotswapper) and was wondering If I could use a USB Flashdrive and the xbox>USB converter cable I made to save the exploit to (i've already got 2 modded boxen, so I can just FTP then copy If I can use a thumbdrive on a virgin box) _________________
