I put a hard drive from an old xbox into my current working chipped machine and as I suspected got error 13 when I switched it on. I then tried to doot from my Autoinstaller disc as recommended by someone but nothing but error 13 everytime. Should the machine boot from the disc or have I been give bad advice?

OK it now appears the drive may have been locked although I have no way to tell. Not to worry, I was only experimenting.

Thanks anyway.
