I tried running Mimesis and it's complaining that my static IP set up is incorrect. I went to http://www.projectmimesis.com and did some sniffing. They even have an automatic config maker for V 2 but since I can't boot the darn thing yet, I'm not sure what version is in AID 3.

It does the same to me. I went over there as well, and it said use the generator and never worked. I even tried to setup my static IP to work but nothing worked. If anyone has gotten this to work. Please let us know. I even tried using an earlier version but my content was corrupt so I had to delete it all. I would really like to use Mimesis too. _________________ Moddingbandit

I think it's time for me to kick in this.
AID, and all dashes installed by AID are automaticly set to use Static IP.
Mimesis doesn't like that, and it won't work, so you must set your Main Dashboard to use DHCP, than you start Mimesis (2).
Sounds funny, but that's how it works, at least for now, if there's no fix for that yet. _________________ Xbox v1.1

I will go back and work on it again but honestly I've always been DHCP for my xbox and the upgrade via AID 3 of the XBMC didn't change any of that, so by default, I've already taken your steps suggested with (as the aussies say) no joy. I assume that it doesn't do any good then to try to edit something withing the Mimesis info or something huh? Perhaps I don't get to play with Mimesis until it grows up some more or I hack at it. I believe there's either an .xml or an .ini file where Mimesis is installed, and it should specify network settings and IP etc.., see what's with it.
