Ok let me get this straight I can get an xbox which comes with approx 4gig hdd i think then i load the softmod via mechwarrior save (game that i have) then install all the softmod backup c etc etc then restart its softmodded? well doesnt the stock xbox just have a c: drive on hdd and how do you get f and g drive etc on it as i want to add apps such as xbmc and such as well as emulators.
any help much app.

dont worri on the folders that are on the hd.

Well acctually an xbox harddrive is a standard 8 to 10 gig, and about 4 gig is free, and gus is right they are there even if it isnt modded, and you will still have room to put your apps on with AID and you will have room to also put emulators on as well _________________

C < your dash E your personal info gamesaves etc etc. D < drive F sometimes on certain hds and x y z are temp folders
F and G happens after you upgrade your hd ....
but to softmod it and have 1 game burn or so its good enough... then you can upgrade hd and fit more space ....
you dont even need a chip . but first you need to softmod it .

Ok i got AR and Splinter Cell. So your saying i can still install the bigger HD? Does the HD have to be formatted first?

the first step, is to softmod your xbox, then you make backups of your c and e and backups folder and put it on your computer and then you follow the tutorial, I imagine the one gus linked you to will be easier for you to follow. _________________
