Hi, I was installing X-DVD and X-DSL with AID3.0 disc, then I reboot the xbox and the error 21 screen appears. How do I restore a complete backup of the c: drive.
I installed them in e:, but now I´m not sure?
What do I did wrong? and how I can fix it?

Sounds like something replaced your dashboard files. Pop in your softmod game (Splinter Cell, 007:AUF, or Mechassault) and turn off the box. Turn it back on, wait for the game to load, and re-run the exploit. Then restore one of your backups and go from there. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

So, I´m downloading the M$ db and use the Pirrup tut. Q: Does this fix make my xbox retailed again?
Or go with the person that softmod my xbox and lend the splinter cell game and try to re-exploit it again. Now, could you tell me the 1.2.3. steps to recover my xbox flawlessly, please.
I´d tried to load my AID3 disc but it doesn´t load, (tryin to restore from the disc); this is because of the dashboard error or because of my Thompson drive?

Don't worry about a hotswap. Just pop in your Exploit game, run the savegame, and restore either your Mod Backup (you did make one, right?) or your MS backup, then resoftmod.
If you had someone do the box for you, just have them resoftmod the box. There's no real listing of steps. Just pop in the game, run the Xploit, restore one of your backups and go from there. Flawless and simple. Don't worry about restoring the EEPROM backup. That's not an issue with error 21. Just restore either your MS backup or your Mod Backup. _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."

Ok, I rerun the Xploit, but it doesn´t have RESTORE function, so I copy my e:/backup/c: and paste it into c:. But it doesn't work.
I can fttp my xbox.
The xploit installs uxe+pbl, unleash 0.37.1218a, and is from zxbinstaller.net

you could try backing up all that info to your pc. delete everything of your c and install pirrups ms dash to your c.
if you feel like you want to continue with a modded console try the latest sid,
It is the best out there

I don´t know, in start up was th same as M$ db but in blue-purple, I have the dashboards as apps.

I have the latest Sid & Aid. Can I copy/past the game save and the exploit in UDATA to use the latest SID? renaming the ones I have.

I have Pirrups ms dash, copy/past? What about e: ? What folders and/or files I delete? (my c: and e: files/folders are on a post up)

I'm sure you could ftp SID to UDATA but not exactly sure how you would do it(could probably figure it out). You'll still need the exploit game. You're softmod is probably in UDATA. _________________ XBOX V1.4

basicly u need to change the dashboard on ur xbox so it wont boot #21 ... u can re softmod it using the disc and re install softmod or ftp ... under my signiture > and just wipe out on the C with the new retail files...
