wait wait wait... hold on.... When your xbox boots up, there's blue and purple flubber? That means you have a chip (or a TSOP flash). Hense why SID4.5 wouldn't work. Modchips and SID hate each other (at least 4.5 because of the shadow C). That would explain the horrible experience with the softmod... Sounds like whatever chip is in there has the Xecuter 5035 Bios (or one of the ones that lets you change the flubber animation). Get back to me on this. I wanna know. The FLUBBER ANIMATION ON BOOT is purple and blue?

NO, the flubber thing is the original upto X logo, then the dashboard was purple-blue (now I know that was a tHc lite blue dashbaord).
