Well, this seems to be the month of bustin cherries. Shark2th finally broke his softmod virginity, and I have jut done my first solder, EVER in my life. I bought an xecuter 2.6CE from modchipshource.com Lemmie tell ya guys, they're great. Fast shipping, and they ship it right. NOT LIKE DIVINO!!! bastards...
Anywho, Once I bust out the 6megapixel camera, I'll laydown some photos of my mod (i'm so proud ) just to show off. Like I said, it's my first hard mod... Damnit, soldering's easy! I guess now I can officially add soldering chips to my list of available mods. I'm lovin it, it was so easy to flash... oh, god... GO XECUTER!!!
Maybe next I'll try LED's... I'm so geeked now, I'ma pimp this box OUT!!! hahaha...
Does anyone have a DVD Bezel that will fit a Samsung 616t? I don't have a bezel and it's takin away from the look of the system.... I love this box, it's been through so much, my first softmods, so many games, roms, mods... about 40 different softmod tests in the past year... It's my beta box and it's been running like a CHAMP since I fixed it.

Nice, what made you pick the 2.6ce?? Glad to hear everythings ok. You didn't run into any roadblocks on your first solder install? You'll really be happy when you see how easy it is to throw a bigger hdd in there... _________________

I've played with my boy's Xenium... Liked it, got to upgrade another friend's HDD with it, but I just like the Xecuter name. Not to mention, I liked the toys it came with. .... and the SP.I.C.E. was out of stock . I wanted a chip, and I wanted it now, damnit... HA HA HA... I fixed it... I lifted a pad on the bottom D0 point. The solder wouldn't stick and my top d0 was fried out, but still would allow a connection (tried it with a solderless0 but wouldn't solder... So I used some masking tape I don't have any electrical tape as of now, but I will. Then I'll replace it. Well, the tape's still holding, my HDD's are switched out. Now my old windows WD 65 gig is sitting in my xbox, swallowing up games like nothin, and my 250 Maxtor is running everything like a CHAMP on my computer.
It was such a damned breeze once I got all my data backed up. Formatted, slapped in the xbox, booted with AID... BAM. FTP'd my old HDD to it and went to town. *drool* it's... so... fast... HAHAHAHAHA _________________ "That which does not kill you, only makes you stronger."
