I soft modded my xbox with the splinter cell exploits and now I am unable to play any games or watch any movies.I just get an error saying that my xbox requires service.... I cant even get my dashboard back

What softmod package did you use? Did you make a backup of your eeprom or original microsoft files? On the error message in the top left hand corner, what number is it?

there is no error message.It just says that my xbox needs service.I used the splinter cell exploits.SID 3 exploits.

There was no error.There was a whole bunch of different languages saying that I need to contact the xbox customer service.

I am having the a problem along the same lines. although i used the AUF game save. so the numder coming up on the right hand side of my screen is "21" after some reseach i see it means something about important files missing from the c:/ partition. The steps i did were as follows....
1. loaded up AUF
2. load game save...etc
3. backed up my c:/ drive
4. ran UE install or w/e its called
5. i have a verison 1.4 xbox with kernal numer 5105 so i picked ue2, and then it says that i already have an dashboard folder installed and it asks me to replace or leave it, although i dont believe i had ever installed one before.
6. so i continue with the installation and select the evox dash, etc.,..then the installer runes, and the light eventually blinks green, however when i go to strat up my xbox i always get this "21" error, no matter how many different ways i install the softmod wheather i pick the ude 1, or ude 2 or use mxm or evox or if i select eitther patch it always fails to work, and i always get this 21 error. so any help would be greatly appreaiacted 9specificly where did i go wrong and how can i fix it lol)

install dash to E not C in SID 3, I had a similar problem.

I cant do anything on my xbox anymore....I get an error saying that i need to contact xbox service and the it goes into a whole bunch of different languages.

look around the whole site b4 u start doing stuff but 2 answr ur questoin. its hre but its a torrnet file as its too much bandwith so gonna hve 2 wait til its don downloaded.. now once u have it make it obiosly an iso/udf like u would to make ur xbox read disc.. _________________ Xbox 360 Premium edition

basicly you are going to restore the HD back to stock..yes you are going to loose all your game saves and stuff unless you happened to back them up and ftp them to your pc...but this will fix all your problems...next make sure to get nknaves SID V4...follow the instructions...
