I dont want my credit card to get frauded and i live in the USA. I was looking to buy a Mod-Chip (Im Guessing to get Aladdin Live because it seems simple and good and easy to install). Do you guys know any sites that wont fraud me and will send me the mod-chip i wish to get? thanks in advance.
Edit: Another Question; If I get a Mod-Chip Can i go rent xbox video games and then burn them using a regular Cd-R or a DVD-R, will everything work out fine?

Hi,
I have bought something from each company that has a banner on xbox-hq.com so really any banner or link you see on XBOX-HQ.COM has been tested and something has been purchased and delivered..
I live in Australia and use my Credit Card and have not had a problem with any sites that are advertising on the website.
SAVE MONEY!
If you want to save even more money since your in the USA you could purchase a modchip from AUSTRALIA and get express shipping and it would still nearly cost you half as much if you bought from the USA.
thanks a bunch but i look forward to more feedback just to be a little more safe (you can call me paranoid), Lets say If i buy a mod-chip, I dont want to take many risk's installing the mod-chip and breaking my xbox. I also play on Xbox Live, so any recomendations? Also Please replay to the question up top.

Yes you can but its not LEGAL!
If you still want to play xbox live using your modded xbox i would suggest getting a XBOX LIVE MODCHIP like alladin or xenium which wont allow you to go XBOX LIVE WITH THE MODCHIP TURNED ONN!
If you go on XBOX LIVE with your modchip enabled your xbox will be banned forever!
OR you could get a modchip with a SWITCH so you can turn on and off.

A modchip isn't going to "break" your xbox. Only a faulty installation will do that.
As far as CC fraud, you are much safer purchasing from out affiliates than just finding a website on the internet. This site is, in my opinion, one of the straightest and most reliable xbox modding sources available worldwide. It is the only site that I use for info and for purchasing modding supplies for my clients.
I have purchased many itemsfrom our sponsors here and have had nothing but great service.
Prior to making your final selection, just make sure you know where the company is. If you prefer to deal with someone in the states, that's fine. But the other vendors are great too. The only reason I am saying to know where they are from is so you understand the time zone differences. If you send an email to ask a question at 1PM EST, realize that it's 1AM somewhere else maybe and you may not get a response for another half a day or so.
As far as renting games and ripping them to the HD then copying to another disk, that is considered piracy and is something that we don't condone. Not to say that nobody does it though. When I first got my machine that is what I thought I would be doing the most, taking advantage of my HD for storage. But, as I started to realize what a modded xbox could do I hardly even play too many xbox games now. I use my machine for so much more. The emulation is awesome. I am now converting all my DVD's to DivX and storing them on the HD. I can covert a 4+GIG DVD into a 640MB DivX movie!
I can stream tv, radio, webcams, and so much more to my xbox. If people are modding machines just to pirate games, they are truly missing out on what xbox modding is all about. Some of our members are even running Linux on their machines, have keyboards, a mouse, and even surf websites!! It's truly amazing.
As far as being paranoid about CC fraud, people don't realize that you hand your CC to store merchants who can easily abuse your CC numbers. I have been buying products online for almost five years and I have never had my info abused. Furthermore, I know that I am protected by my CC issuer so I buy with a peace of mind.
The only thing that I make sure is in place is a secure server. Which any E business now realizes is a must.

Ok I am Ordering X-Ecuter 2.3B PRO No ( 1 x $40.00 ) and I want to know anything for the last time should i buy anything with it? Like i dont know what a programmer is, should i get one with it? Help me ASAP, One more thing can this mod-chip be allowed to hold games into its HDD or can i burn back up xbox games from a CD-R and put it on and play it with this chip PLEASE HELP ASAP!

A programmer is what allows you to flash the bios on this particular chip. Some chips are flashed via a programmer, others can be flashed via your DVD drive in your xbox. For instance the Xenium can be flashed that way.
The chip manufactures only release chips with a "LEGAL" bios such as a Cromwell. This bios will allow the chip to work, but you will be very limited in what you can do. You won't be able to backup games to HD for instance.

Reason is, there is a newer version (Version 1.6) that can only utilze a couple chips out there. The Xenium Ice being one of them.

I think you need to do a little more reading on the basics of Modding. Firstly, the modchip does not have a HD. It has some storage for BIOS only. You will need to upgrade the HD in your xbox as the stock HD is only about 8-10 Gigs. Most people go with at least 120Gigs, but the newer bios' can support HD's as large as 300GIG Once you have your hacked bios loaded to modchip and your new HD installed you will be able to use programs like PxHDD loader or DVD2Xbox to rip an xbox game to the xbox HD. You then can FTP it over to your PC, turn the game into a .ISO and then burn it to media that your xbox will recognize. Keep in mind, that xbox's have THREE different types of DVD Drives. Thompson Drive, Phillips Drive, and Samsung Drive. Some are more picky than others. Check out our tutorial section for DVD Drives and their preferred media types. Also keep in mind that some games are over 5GIG!! No way in hell you are burning that to a 700mb CDR. You have to be realistic in what you back up your games too. You will need to back up 85% of them to DVD-R or DVD+R depending on what your drive likes the best. Very few games are less than 1GIG. I can only think of three out of the 40+ Xbox games that I have backed up. And again, it's not the chip that determines what you can backup or if you can backup. It's the BIOS that is on the chip. The chip you picked will accept the new bios' that will allow you to rip and backup games.

Know their time zones, know their delivery policies, and know their return polices. Common sense goes a long way when you purchase from any company, even off the internet. Just make sure that you will be happy with their policies if something goes wrong with the chip PRIOR to your install such as shipping damage or wrong item shipped. People are human, mistakes can happen.

Yes. A switch will be shipped with this chip. The switch allows you to turn off your modchip so when you boot your xbox up it will load the MS bios, not your hacked bios that resides on your modchip. If you accidently login to Xbox live with a modchip enabled. Say bye bye to your gamertag and your account as it will be banned.
We also do not guarantee that MS won't scan for larger HD's in the future. We know they are already doing this, but so far I have not met anyone who was banned due to HD size alone. This is not to say they wont start doing this tomorrow. I have 120GIG HD and a Xenium chip and go on Live three times a week. No issues. I just make a point to disco my network cable if I am not going on live or FTP'ing into my xbox. That way, I can never make a mistake. Plus my Xenium has other safeguards and I don't need an external switch.

wow thanks for taking your time to anwser my questions, about the programmer one more question; I don't want to really do lots of stuff with my mod-chip except burn games into cd's and maybe into my hd, will I really need to spend 15$ for something i might not use?

The programmer is definitely needed because you will NEED to flash your modchips bios via the programmer. Xecuter 2.3 chips are flashed by the programmer. Without flashing the modchip you will not be able to do the two things that you said you want to do.
Unless of course you change your mind and buy a Xenium Modchip. Then, you need no programmer as Xeniums can be flashed right from the DVD Drive via a CD.
Let me try to explain this a little more in depth.
Your stock xbox has a bios programmed into the TSOP. A TSOP is basically a chip that contains the bios. The Microsoft bios will not allow you to do much of anything besides load music CD's and play original Xbox games. When you install a modchip the modchip has a similar chip that you can program your own hacked bios on. The hacked bios will allow you to save games to your new HD. It will allow you to launch programs that will rip your xbox games for you. Programs (apps) like PxHDD Loader, or DVD2Xbox. With the Xecuter 2.3 chip you will have a toggle switch that you have to install on your machine. It's basically an on and off switch. When you turn the modchip switch to the on position, your xbox will boot up and BYPASS the Microsoft bios and load your modchip and it's bios. If you turn your xbox on with the modchip turned off, it will load the Microsoft bios that is on the TSOP so you can cloak your modchip and play on xbox live.
Now, if you don't have a way to program your modchip's bios then you obviously can't launch the necessary apps to rip the games so you can back them up to your HD and then burn them to a DVD R Disk.
We have some pretty good tutorials for beginners that you may want to read. This way you may get a better understanding as I obviously can't go over everything in one or two posts. What I did prior to purchasing my mod (incidently, I purchased one already done, it took out the guesswork) was read as many beginner tutorials that I could find.
We have EvolutionX for dummies, Glossary of terms for newbies, and several other beginner tutorials.
You will need to know what your dashboard is, how to FTP into and out of your xbox, how to create and burn .ISO files, and a few other things just to be able to backup xbox games to disk let alone the HD. Prior to purchasing your modchip it is a must to know what version xbox you are using. Not only does it dictate what chip you should buy, it also dictates how you install that chip.
I know that it seems like a lot of bullshit to get through, but honestly once you have the basic knowledge on how the mod works and how the original xbox works...the rest will come so easily.

I am not familiar with this chip, I dont' know anyone else who has used it so I am unsure of it's Live capabilities. If nobody else responds, you should email the vendor and ask them what the Xbox Live support procedure is. They will tell you either you have a way to boot via the MS Dashboard, or an external switch to shut it off. Check the specs for the chip. Does it mention anything?
did you purchase the X- BIT chip possibly?

I found the X-Chip and it's features but cannot find any info on Xbox Live compatibility as far as what you have to do. I would imagine if it doesn't have a way to boot straight to the MS Dashboard an external switch could be installed.
It looks like it's flashed either through a USB Programmer or a CPLD just like the Xecuter 2.3
You need to find out about the xbox live procedure.
