You've got nothing to lose at this point in simply overwriting the dash using AID. If it doesn't clear up the hiccup, then format and you should be gold. Now the question of the Xecuter2 bios and +3935 dash, the Xecuter2 bios has a number that I think we identified as 4981.06. It's slightly older than the Xecuter2 4983 Bios that I use and you might consider coming over to the dark side and using that one since I can vouch for that bios personally. Otherwise, I'm not aware of any issues.

You might check Udata and Tdata folders that should be on the E drive and clear those. I doubt the bin files are hurting anything. Can you see the Udata and Tdata folders? If not, since that's where a lot of the saves are for configurations should be stored, that might be your issue.

Or I could be completely mistaken and it might be screwing everything. Embarassed

Ok, so now on to other things. Judging by the avatars you snag all the fish on the left, I'll snag all to the right. Laughing

Might I add that you really should try to update that X2 to the latest X2 bios? Updating to the latest BIOS might clear up some other bugs you'll find along the way. If it is an Xecutor 2.x chip, you can easily update it to the latest 512KB bios over HTTP (just switch to boot to Bank2 on your switches, and you should come up with the flash BIOS) and you even have the latest BIOS for X2 in that AID disk you downloaded (just go to BIOS and pick your 512KB size). The help readme tells you what all the different bios' are.

Then, I would recommend installing the latest EvoX dash board too (or UnleashX). I switch XBMC so often, that I don't run it as my main dash, I run UnleashX and boot to XBMC, just in case there are problems.

OMG Shocked I'm so sorry!!!!! I had been trying to delete the cache since you mentioned it, I was trying to delete the files inside the .bin files....... no wonder it wasn't working...lol.

Props to you Sir, thanks a bunch!

jhondra~ I'm sure as I gain confidence in what I'm doing I will try what you suggested. Only thing it's that my X2 doesn't have that fancy little swith outside my xbox.

In any case, at least I can now play some games while I learn how to do the rest.

From the cold ass waters of Lake Michigan,
SharkAttack.
