can somne one help me burn my AID to a cdr or a dvdr
i already had this working once, then my disk got scrached real bad
im not to good when it comes to soft ware and all
i just need this so i can fix my hdd
and i feel like a complete noob
it would be nice if you could walk me threw on Aim

new problem
sence i formatted my hdd and my dvd went bad i got my new AID
to install a new dashboard
i keep coldbooting my disk and my bios wont load?
so i pop out my disk and pop it back in as fast as i can and my bios loads like a rocket and i got to the main X and then it goes to error code 13?
should i try a dvd insted of a cdr??
my last one was on a Memorex DVD+R and i got a crap load of those
and i probly need a coumplete noob tut on how to do it with a dvd

Now you're headed into new territory since you formatted your hdd. If you're chipped it isn't that bad. If you have a softmod, you'll have to do pirrup's hotswap. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

of course i have a chip
i had my 120gb installed, and the dash qas being gay and i delted all my file in the file manger from the dashboard and i went to foramt
it formatted and thtn my xbox locked up(doees when ever i format my hd)
so i went out for a while and came back to my xbox and my AID wouldnt boot
so im here cause i forgot what to do to get a new dvd

Good...you're chipped. Burn the AID iso to that dvd @ 1x. Your chip's bios should boot the disc before trying to boot the hdd. _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS

i did it once like a year ago
i burned it to a cdr but i did it wrong

Follow the steps in the link I posted. Instead of a cdrw, use a dvd-r or +r (what ever you have). _________________ Xenium Ice 2.3.1 OS
