Can I still boot from cd with error code 5 or 6 on a softmod box?

put in a original xbox game and try.. Hopefully you can..

heres a link to the errors codes and what they mean.
You should be able to tell from this tutorial what you need to do or what is broken..

I am going to say no.

But, I've been wrong many times before. I know if you had your machine chipped it wouldn't matter, or TSOP flahed it wouldn't matter either.

yep thats exactly why i asked if he could boot a original.
Some guys call softmodding flashing the TSOP..

I still have never done that and will never.. No need.
