I'd like to know how i could totally hide the SID 2.0 menu and the configurations settings when i boot the Xbox? The goal is to avoid anyone (except me ) to see the name of the softmod i used.(like Magicians won't reveal there secrets!) .Also to make sure that no one could change anything that can screwed up the installation .
I didn't try just to put back the MS Dashboard after my succesfull modding.
Is it the simple solution to bypass the menu of SID?
Anything else i should do?
Thanks

Delete the save game (Linux) from the hard drive.

OK, here's a suggestion for you...
Try out SID 3, which will give you the option to install the softmod without the tray open menu (this will basically only give you the normal boot and not include the SID 3 menu). Also, once SID 3 is installed you can delete the gamesave on E Drive, coz SID 3 installs itself to C
Out of the 2 choices (NKpatcher or PBL) I'd suggest using NKpatcher.
When you install a dashbaord, I suggest getting UnleashX or one that has a file manager (Avalaunch is another one that does). When you want to access the softmod menu, just browse for C:\SID\unleashx.xbe, which starts the softmod menu.
Hopefully that should help...
PS: SID 3 comes with Auto-Installer Deluxe v2.0, just remember to grab the v2.01 update also because there were issues that needed fixing that regarded softmods.

It was simplier that i could ever imagine!
And of course the next time i'll install a softmod,i'll use SID 3 with the option to delete any trace of the installer.
Very clear and usefull tips DJB...you're the King !(or the Queen.?..lol!)
Thank you both!
