Right, this is what I've done to date!!

Softmodded with installer deluxe, which worked fine.

Installed slayers 2.6, which copied all the files over to the xbox, but only loaded the MS dash & wouldnt recognise any burnt discs.

I reinstalled the softmod, and from the gamesaves option I can see a copy of a game I want to use, however when I load the game back up, it starts at the very 1st level!!!!

I can FTP into my xbox, but I dont seem to be able to see the game save.

A couple of questions:

Where can I find the gamesave & can I use it (I did a backup before the original soft mod but I'm not sure if Slayer overrode this)

Can I delete everything tat is on my e drive? (I'm not sure if this is where slayer loaded all its apps)

Can anyone send me a copy of AID as an *.exe file as I cant download torrents from work and havent got broadband at home.

Sorry for the long post. All constructive responses welcomed.

When I do a softmod I just ftp to my xbox and copy C,F,and I know its C and F but can't remmeber the other folder. I will check for you. ALways do this before doing anything else. I will see what I can find out with the prob. you are having.

Hey,

If you want to have your savegames you can NOT delete your E drive.
UDATA is the map wehere all your savegames are stored.
You can't delete UDATA and the other one FDATA or something.
And i don't think your problem is the Softmod or something, it's just that your Xbox DVD-Rom can't read + or - dvd's.
It can also be the brand your using, just try different brands and try + and - dvd's.
