I had my xbox softmodded and was going to put a larger hard drive. I unlocked the hard drive using config magic in aid deluxe. Then I put in the new hard drive but nothing happened I apparently overlooked the fact that I had to prep the new hard drive, anyways I did not lock my original hard drive again so now I get an 05 error code whatever that is. I did ftp my E:backup, E: backup_linux, E:TDATA, and E:UDATA files into my pc before I began the process (if that helps any). Is there any way I can get my original hard drive working again, ill worry about the bigger hard drive later on. Any help will greatly be appreciated.

did you not backup your c:\ as well?
you can make a bootable disc from
your c & e backup's but without a
locked hdd or a chipped or tsop'd
xbox i can't see how your going to
lock your drive back up.
A mod chip may be your only chance
to save your box.

if you got a friend with a chipped xbox you can still fix it (but you need eeprom backup)
you can update the chipped xbox eeprom so it has the eeprom from your softmodded xbox . then lock the new hd using that eeprom.
when done you can restore the chipped xbox eeprom to original
