Hey everyone, Im new to the forums and have been searching countless hours finding out how to softmod with flash drve and everyting. Finally I got it by changnig the Action Replay so that it reads my flash as a unit. I got the Evox installed using the Splinter Cell Exploit. I was looking at the features on it and everything when I hit the delete MS and delete Mod. Not sure what that meant. So then I go to my hard drive to delete the exploits and installer before I ate. came back to power on the Xbox and I get the Error 13.
Please help anyone. I don't have n modchp or whatever. And I don't know if I still have Evox in it considering I downloaded it to the C drive. I can't FTP and I don't got Cross network cables.
you deleted MS and deleted Mod? sounds to me like you deleted the M$ dashbaord(the original dash) and then deleted the softmod, pretty much screwing yourself. can you load an original game? like perhaps Splinter Cell?

Not a great Softmod fan but it sounds like your HDD may be unlocked!
Try installing the Exploit again and use Config Magic to lock HDD
Yes I can still load original games like Splinter Cell. I would install the soft mod if I can transfer it to my HDD which I can't. Any ideas that I can bypass this somehow or anything?
If my hard drive is unlocked, then with that program ^:
1: Do I need a mod chip?
2: Do I need soft mod?
3: Can I just burn it on cd and put in the xbox?
Oh one more thing. Since I deleted the original dashboard and deleted the softmod afterwards. Is it possible I can FTP to the Xbox even though I don't have a hardware modchip? If so can you help me out with the steps?
i'm also getting the error message i tried to put on the deluxe 1.1 after doing the 2.0 softmod. I tried to boot from the deluxe 1.1 cd but it dosent work. If i get a mod chip will I be able to get back where I was? also if i do get a mod chip can someone point me in the right direction of getting a bios for it.
