I don't know much about the Xenium OS but can't you just reflash it with an original bios and start over? There should be a failsafe bios or just a backup one somewhere that you can flash it with and start over I would assume. I'm sure ModGod will let you know what's up.

There is a recovery switch on the Xenium. I have not had to use it but it puts the chip in a safety mode and will recover the bios for you. Try flipping the recovery switch on the chip and re-booting . Remember to flip the switch back when done.

If that doesn't work you will need to burn a recovery CD. Get Qwix and create an iso using local files or download the ISO version of the OS from here http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&lid=937 . double click the ISO and make sure to set the slowest burn speed, and that the disc is not mutisession. Power up the xbox by pressing the eject button, place the disk in the tray and close the tray. power off the xbox. disconnect the hd by removing the ide cable, flip the recovery switch and boot the xbox, you should see the same lights you saw the first time you tried recovery if the disk ids good. If you don't you will want to make another disk.

When you flip that recovery switch it is going to look for the recover.bin on E drive of your HD, if not found it will go to CDTray...so make sure if you flip it you have the .bin on disk or on E:

Two things could have happend, the bios disk you burned is corrupt and it locked up your chip.

Or, you have a clone. The OS upgrades will automatically lock up a clone chip and render it useless.

So, start with the recovery and see where that leaves you

Crap, I didn't even think of that except that if it's an ice, I am not aware that anyone has cloned an Ice chip yet. Only the blue Xenium.
