hey there, i've read the error message post for newbies (way n00b as this is my first hack - hehe... killed it already!), and i can't understand how i can fix my error 14 message? I had a friend mod and install xbmc for me a while ago on a 250GB WD drive but in my wisdom i've decided to blast that away and attempt an install of gentoox. During this install, i re-initialised the HDD and formatted all the partitions and when it rebooted i was left with the service required screen. I have got the AID burned to DVD but i can't even get the device to boot from it, it just goes straight into this error state. What i am trying to do is to get the xbox to boot off the DVD so that i can rebuild the machine and start again... Can somebody help?

If you can get AID to boot you just need to reinstall the MS dash.
