I have an xecuter 3 chip which whn I turn on my xbox I get the screen with the xecuter options on it. When I scroll down to the bottom to boot with dashboard the Unleash logo comes up and then the screen goes blank.
I used auto installer version 4.3.
Any suggestions..
Thanks

I would say just pop in the aid disk and install a good dash like avalaunch or XBMC.
Evox and Unleash are just old out dated and are like running DOS on a PC.
Triesd to install Avalaunch and now I go to the Microsoft dashboard.
Anyother suggestions?
Would appreciate.
ThanPS: Did a full install using auto installer v4.3. Used the automatic install selecting Avalaunch as dashboard.
Thanks

Can you find me a pic of the chip you are running and tell me what BIOS it has, that would help.

Hello:
I am running xecuter 3, don't have the box open so cannot get picture at this time. I am running bios 3294. I upgraded the bios yesterday from 1959. The chip was put in at the end of 2004.
I can get a dashboard to work. It is the original slayers 2.6 that was originally installed on the box. I had made an ftp backup of the c an de drives. When I put the original evoxdash.xbe and evox.ini file and the skins I am back to how I was originally running.
I just dont seem to be able to load the dashboards with the auto installler v4.3.
Any thoughts.
Thanks

You need to tell the chip ware the dash xbe is and then it will launch what ever dash you tell it too.
