Hi,
Firstly this is my first post so please forgive me if this is covered else where - I have had a good look around but can't find what I'm after.
I'm thinking of purchasing an Xecuter 2.6 for my XBox 1.1. I have found lots of topics on how to install the chip which isn't a problem (unless it goes horrible wrong of course!) but I can't find anything on what happens after that. I have heard I have to flash the chip (which sounds strange) so how would I go about this and what BIOS would I flash it to?
Is there anywhere you would recommend to purchase the chips in the UK?
Thanks!

Welcome to the XBOX-HQ, we hope you enjoy this and all the other HQ sites we have to offer.
Thanks very much. Does the AID automatically detect which chip I have and choose the BIOS itself or is that manual. If it's manual which one should I be looking to install?
I'd prefer a really good BIOS rather than the latest one though sometimes these go hand in hand.

The latest BIOS for the X-2 is the best and if you build the aid ISO with the add ons it will give you the type of chip and you select the right BIOS for your xbox Ver 1.0-1.5 all use the same or if you have a 1.6 it will tell you in the BIOS name that it is for a 1.6.
