HI does anyone know, does the executor 2 lite chip have the same pin outs as the executor 2.6 lite ie. to swap them is it just a case of unpluging one and putting the other in its place. also does it have a bios that would support a 160 gb hdd. Many thanks

You seem like the man I want to talk too...hehehe. I am doing a repair for another member here. I have always installed chips using pin header methods.
I have installed the X3, Xenium Ice, Xenium Blue, and SmartXX but never a X2.3 b lite +.
What pins are supposed to be removed. I have a few posts at other locations but I know we have some X23 users here so hopefully someone will know. Also, since this chip doesn't have a spot for a D0 loom where would I solder the D0 wire to? Just on top of the chip where the pogo top is? I know which pogo pin is for the mobo that I am installing on, I just want to make sure I do this right so I can ship this bad boy out of here today.
As far as bios go, if you are running an xbox that isn't a 1.6 version the Xectuer 2 4983.06 bios with LBA48 hack is a good bios!

Yeah, been to those manuals. No pin header install for the b lite +. I wouldn't think so, it's supposed to be a solderless installation. Even though it has a pin header are, that may just be for flashing purposes. I haven't found one piece of information on installing that chip onto a pin header and trust me....I have looked!
I just went ahead and swapped him out with a Xenium Ice modchip anyway. It was worth me losing the $20.00 to get his machine outta here I could get it to work fine the solderless way, but it wasn't flashed and I didn't have a programmer. He though he had the chip flashed before he sent it to me. When he originally installed the chip the D0 pogos scratched the hell out of his traces as he tried to align the chip.
He'll love the Xenium anyway.... _________________ Good Deals: Death@Hand, funkydopenloven, StaticMind, Slamscaper, PorscheXboxter
