I have a softmodded box running Unleash X and have succesfully installed XBMC and DVD2 xbox using AID.
I installed some emulators to the E drive like the programs but on the Unleash dashboard under "Emulators" it is still empty.
Using file explorer,I can see the emulators are on the E drive but i can't launch them or play them.
What am I missing? Thanks in advance.

E/Emulators/xsnes

The option to install them from AID was just to choose the drive;E F or G.
I don't know how I would install them from AID to a specific folder.

Look in the file manager under your E drive and see if the emus are even in there.

If you cant find them i wold go to the eurasia site and download the emus you want and hand install them.

I always use xbins for emu's. Anyways, if your emulators are in the E:\emulator folder then the unleashX XML file may not the have the path written into it.

if im not mistaken, the newest version of unleash x dosnt have the proper settings for an emulator menu option.

Heres what your config.xml file should look like (the part with the menu options anyway) The emulator menu settings are in bold

..........
<Menu>
<Item Action="LaunchDVD">Launch DVD</Item>
<List Text="Games" Sort="On" Auto="On" DelayLoad="True">
<Path>E:\Games</Path>
<Path>E:\HDDLoader</Path>
<Path>E:\GamesHomeBrew</Path>

<Path>F:\HDDLoader</Path>
<Path>F:\GamesHomeBrew</Path>
<Path>G:\Games</Path>
<Path>G:\HDDLoader</Path>
<Path>G:\GamesHomeBrew</Path>
</List>
<List Text="Applications" Sort="On" Auto="On">
<Path>E:\Apps</Path>
<Path>F:\Apps</Path>
<Path>G:\Apps</Path>
</List>
<List Text="Emulators" Sort="On" Auto="On">
<Path>E:\Emulators</Path>
<Path>F:\Emulators</Path>
<Path>G:\Emulators</Path>
</List>

<List Text="System" Sort="Off" Auto="On">

Yeah the XML for the newer UX isn't set up to read from the folder named emulators its set to pick it up from a folder named emus. So just make a folder named emus and move em to there, or of course you could just edit the XML.

Well,I edited the path and the emulators show up and can be launched.
The Roms,however,are a different story.
I installed them to the E drive via AID,but when i go to select a game from an emulator it gives the selection as D:>
Where should I install the Roms,or are the ones on the AID even the right ones?
Thanks in advance,you guys are a big help.

What emulators are you using? Where are the roms now? Alot of emulators have a folder inside of the emu folder called roms. Thats where all mine are.

Yep same here and if it shows D: as where they are its right if you scroll down a lil after selecting it you'll see a folder named roms and thats where all your games are. After you find em you can go into the configuration menu or general settings menu in almost all the Emus and change the default directories so your games will pop up without you having to got to that folder everytime.
