Sorry for sounding stupid here but I have a new Smartxx v3 with a 1.5 xbox I can't seem to figure out how to flash the bios for a hacked one? Can someone point me in the right direction.
I have the new auto installer 4.11 burnt on a DVD-r and ready to go but I can't figure out how to get it on there.

Did you burn 4.11 to a disc or did you use it to update the aid 4.10 and then burn it?

No I downloaded the 4.01 and updated it with the 4.11 update package. I watch the tutorial and updated the 4.01 ISO to 4.11, it went perfect.
But from what I have been reading I need to flash the BIOS first. Am i right?

That is the next step if the disc was done right you just pop it in and wait for it to boot.
When it fires up go to advanced options and select bios flash the bios for your chip then your good to one click install for your hdd.

But when I boot up it auto goes to the smartxx main screen. At this point I have done nothing to the eeprom or anything else to the flash or the internal software.

I understand how to do it now. But I can't get the Xbox to pick up the CD, CDRW, DVD+R, DVD-ROM or DVD-r. I have burnt them all on 2 different burns and it not picking it up!!!

Did you rename them to bios.bin and add a big dummy file?

No man let say your bios was the x-2 5035.bin then you rename that bios.bin then add a big dummy file and make an iso of that.
