I have softmod my xbox but i want to format my xbox so that its clean.
and make a fresh start so i can put all the new stuff on it.
Cause i think i have an error in my xbox.
Can someone tell me how to format it and what program i must use?
And if i do that all is my xbox then onmodded or is it still softmodded?

Do not outright format your softmodded box, it'll never work again if you do without backups. From the sound of things you might be in a little over your head. Also you would know if there was an error cause your box wouldn't load and you'd get an error message. Post a little more info on what you wanna do and I'll try to walk you through. _________________

The problem i have is that a friend did the softmodding so i just know little things.
So when it was softmodded i tried to put the skin viens from the blackteam
but i deleted my project mayhem ||| and 2 and it was chrashed.
Nothing worked after reboot only a black screen.Even the tricks with white button Y didn't work and pull the triggers also.
Finnaly i found a cd in his pack of cds with xbox installer on it so i did it in the xbox and there was an setup screen with bios emulators dashboards etc.
But it works so slow now and some scripts dont work anymore and my xbox freezes.
Thats why i want to make a fresh install and the latest that there is.
And thats why i thought to format it.

So let me get this straight you tried installing a new skin but deleted the old ones so it crashed and then reinstalled everything. Now I need to know what dash you're using. Also was the disk AID or what, and I also need to know how much each partition on your harddrive has left. From the sound of things this should be an easy fix so don't worry. _________________

Heres what you want to do man get a bit client like bitcomet and download auto installer deluxe here http://isohunt.com/torrents/?ihq=auto+installer+deluxe Get the iso file out and burn it to cdrw or dvd and use it to install XBMC when you got it on there and running ftp the skin you want in from your pc.

Yeah I would defenitly get AID never even heard of what your usin. Alright the problems not what I thought it is since they all hane that much room. The prob could be the version of UnleashX you have installed there was a version that froze all the time do you have the same prob in XBMC? _________________

Do you know what was used to mod the box. Which game, and what program? If you do I can get your box back to original as long as you never deleted the save for the installer. As for AID and SID, AID is much better. there both installer disks and do most of the work after you've got the box modded i.e. install dash emus etc.. From the sound of things your Xbox is just low on mem but it should have less space left on E or F for this to happen. What all files are in your C:drive cause it sounds like its missin almost everything that should be there. Also is your HD the original one or was it upgraded to a larger one? _________________
