If your trying to start over with the xbox use the aid disk to reinstall your soft mod.
Then when you have that up and running use it to install the XBMC dash, If you want the new svn build i wold download it and hand install it since the build on aid is the older 2.0 releas.

already have the latest one downloaded
so just put the aid in it install everything and transfer by ftp the new xbmc
So were do i put the new xbmc then place it in the folder that calls xbmc so its replace it by itself???
And what about my C: drive is it good and if not will it work fine when i do the aid or should i do something before i put it in?

Oh and wes the link from isohunt is 1.02GB so i must burn it on a dvd-r i think? thats the AID you were talking about isnt it???

Yeah man the full load is that size but the plain aid iso without all the skin addons is small enuff to fit on a cdrw.

The reason to restore to normal is that it erases all the info the softmod created and all the files it created restoring it back to OG then all you would have to do is reinstall the sofmod and it prolly would fix it but possibly not if its not an issue w/ the softmod itself and something that was installed. Your box was modded using SID from what is shown in your C: drive so DL yourself a copy of it as wes said and just reinstall the softmod. Make sure you have the right copy of splinter cell too if you wanna start completely over and make sure that both save files are on the Xbox the linux one and splinter cell's. Also the skin you're tryin to use prolly just doesn't work w/ XBMC or the version of XBMC your using. Wes take a look at his C: drive do you see what I see there's EvoX, XBMC, and the .nfo file for unleash. Not sure if its supposed to b that way since I've never used SID but doesn't look right to me. Make sure not to delete ne thing in there though Mattie till we find out might mess somethin up. _________________

Haha nvrmind my last post I didn't even get it posted till you guys were talkin about burnin A.I.D. but your C:\ drive does still scare me a lil. I seen odder things though. the reg version of AID without all the extras is the one that has lite at the end of the name. _________________

If you already have Soft mod installer deluxe you don't really need the AID they are pretty much the same. If you want the newest T3CH build of XBMC got to eurasia.nu sign up to b a member and then go in the downloads section then Xbox utilities and the newest ones on one of the last pages it has a little green or red new beside the name _________________

no theres a new one every week newest came out the 1st of this month I'd get it if I were you since he adds/fixes things in every release. especially if you got high speed since its only about 50MB. lol I just got somethin to eat. Great minds think alike I guess. _________________
