have you used burned media (dvd-r or dvd+r) on your box before with game backups or anything?
it could be a number of things:
brand of media
type of media either -r or +r
speed you made iso
etc...
check these things and get back.

You can either burn the DVD/CD if you want, or you can FTP the entire thing to your xbox. To be clear, you'd need to extract all the files in the ISO so you'd need Magic ISO or Power ISO, then you can FTP all that to your xbox since it's already set up for it. Then if it doesn't appear in your apps folder (assuming you put it there) then just use file explorer to enter the AID folder, and just click default.xbe, very quick and simple.
If you'd like to stick to the DVD, I would recommend trying a different brand or style (DVD-R/RW DVD+R/RW).

Saying that, I've encountered a similar problem, this time actually stemming from the 1Gb dummy file. I can burn two identical DVD's, one with the dummy file, one without. My Xbox will not read the DVD with the dummy file, yet the DVD without will run with no problem at all.
Try removing the dummy file from your burn, see if it works then.

You do have a chip in there right? It has to be modded and a Bios needs to be flashed before installing AID. _________________
