Well, modchip on v1.0 mobo seems to be installed OK... FlashBIOS 3.0 boots up fine... I toss in a disc with X3 1879 (NOT v1.6) (1MB) on it into DVD drive. The dipswitches on the front, from top to bottom are right, right, left, left, left (on, on, off, off, off). I get the usual progress bars, similar to that seen on X2.3s. The Xbox shuts down afterwards. With an Xbox-HQ EvoX AI disc in thr Samsung DVD drive, I tap the power button, Xbox seems to start up, but screen is black.... nuttin! This is with the blue LED lit. With the red LED, it boots retail. "Purple" LED(s) it boots into FlashBIOS.
HELP!!!!! Do I need to change the position of dipswitches to get BIOS to Boot? I also flashed via HTTP (cool!), but same result. _________________ The World's Most Awesome Xbox 360 Room
