OK i cant figure out why my mame roms arent workin when i ftp them into the mame roms folder. i downloaded a couple of roms and they all seem to have alot of files in the folders, maybe 7 of them. I extract them and are they all supposed to be in one folder:all the files that came with the download. I tried creating a folder with all the files and ftp, it goes but no go with mame plus from aid 3.0. thankx

Wow those don't look like file I seen but read the read file first. Also you could have outdated roms. in which if you get an older ver of name they will work...also I couldn't really see but those roms have to be zipped _________________ The mighty V6 Passat came to chew bubble gum and kick%^* and shes all out of bubble gum!

ok could you recommend a good mame rom site please?

Nope I can't its against the rules. It toke me a very long time to find them, what you could do is find the dats opition in the menu and use that. It will then give you a list of files needed. then use all those dats files and slap them in with the rom file in a program called romcenter. that will fill in any blanks you have. Also there are a few site to get these roms from but its a PITA I would use a torrent with the mane emu in it. therefore its the right rom set for that emu and your good to go. please remember, although most MAME roms are older, they're still a grey area as far as piracy is concerned. Also, when you attatch pictures, please don't externally link them. This isn't myspace. Please use the forum's attatch file function.
