So here is the problem. I made an attempt to softmod my xbox using the UXE complete installer via hotswap. Bad idea I know, but the tut looked so simple that I figured it wouldn't be a problem. Well I tried the softmod and I failed killing my xbox and my computer. Well a new hd and 8 recovery disks later my computer is back up, but my xbox is still dead. It's running an error 9. My question is this, is there any way to save my xbox or do I just need to go get another one? Would a mod chip fix it? Keep in mind that I don't want to try hotswaping again, i don't want to risk killing my computer. Thank you for taking time to read this.

well error 9 could mean your harddrive needs a reformat, or its on its way out, check all your connections , And is the led flashing when you get error 9?
