In KOTOR on Taris you will fight a rancor. Get Mission and free Zalabar first. Next go to the Upper Sewers. You will meet a rancor there. The easy way to kill it is put the odor(you will find it outside the rancor pit on a severed arm) in the corpse pile. Make sure you don't attract the rancor meaning don't get to close. Once that is accomplished put a frag grendae in the corpse pile. You put the items in by touching the x button on the controller.From there the rancor will come over from the scent of the ordor and eat the frag grenade. You will see the rancor blow up. Thats the easiest way to kill the rancor.
