lol no prob; i will explain; had similar problems..
Your chip contains a switch. At each location there is a bank. That bank contains a bios. If you accidently screw your bios; you can flick the switch which will most probably; although not absolutely; contain a working bios. You can use this bios to enter your dash; bring it to a bios flash tool flick the switch back while the xbox is running (be careful); and reflash a working bios back on the messed up bank. Hope this helped... _________________

Thats werid, dunno why it shows that but am using a X3 and the solderless thing
I just checked the banks, and its still the same no improvement at all!
I also chcked the LPC and the chip they all connect fine, it reports it is fine with the leds and the D0 is fine as its showing a red light.
And also when i said i think i screwed up is because i had been jodged and may have damaged a trace?
But everything looks fine,

np; i'd recommend a magnifying glass to inspect the traces where u have soldered the wires. also do not do anything if you are unsure, ask someone here posting pics will help us, just make sure you are positive with what you are doing; otherwise a slight mistake and your xbox is gone _________________

K, a couple of things since I own a X3 with Xapt3r:
One: If the LED on your dip switch panel(the one outisde the xbox with Xecuter logo) is lit up red, then it means the chip is disabled. To disable you have to hold the power put for about a second.
For testing though, you don't want the chip disabled. Try tapping the power button and the logo should light up blue.
You mentioned a couple pages back that you have 4 light on the xapter: three red and a blue. Check here to see if that is what your seeing. Red is bad I beleive, they should all be blue. I installed a 1.6 xapt3r so it is slightly different, but same concept.
Hope that helps to ensure that the install itself was not the problem. _________________ Hotswap|HDD Upgrade|X3 Guide
