I should have probably mentioned in my last post that the last thing I have tried is an MS memory unit.

Here's my setup:
1. Official MS Memory Unit
2. Adapter lead to plug an XBox controller into the USB port on my PC
3. Using Action Replay (Cause Mega X-Key doesn't seem to work)

Here, http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=79198 are the instructions that I have followed and the drivers too.

I would have thought that an official mem card would have work for sure. This is why I asked whether I would be getting the same error if the game was the wrong version.
